Loan Bank

Assistive Technology items are available for loan for students in all of Colorado’s Public Schools. Each school district or BOCES has a trained specialist, often called the Team Coordinator. Team Coordinators as well as designated Early Intervention Consultants are able to check out items from our loan bank.

SWAAAC teams are required to turn in a SWAAAC Team Participation Agreement and Loan Bank Policies contract signed by the current Special Education Director as well as the Team Coordinator to access the loan bank. To view this document click here (pdf).

We do require loan bank borrowers to complete a number of surveys during the course of your loan. We apologize for the time this takes; however, it is necessary for us to provide this data in order to receive funds to continue to operate the loan bank.

Electronic Loan Bank Application
New loan bank requests should be submitted by utilizing the Loan Bank Store Front. All requests for equipment must come from SWAAAC Team Coordinators or designated Early Intervention Consultants.
