This implementation-based workshop will begin by reviewing the technical and functional aspects of eye tracking technology and various Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) language systems for the emergent communicator. AAC communication language organization and page set options successfully supported by eye gaze access method will be identified. Finally, communication partner strategies to support successful participation and interaction will be reviewed. 

Immediately following the Tobii Dynavox sponsored training, the SWAAAC program will offer an Open Lab opportunity for hands-on experiences with the Loan Library’s Tobii Dynavox devices.
